As our police officers are busying themselves with escorting VIPs, our emergency vehicles have to rely on the help of civilian road users to get them through traffic.

Case in point is a Grab delivery rider who took time off of his busy day to help escort an ambulance through a jammed road.

The ambulance driver, Abe Muadz (@abam_muadz), took to his TikTok page to praise and thank the rider for his assistance.

He simply wrote, “May the rider’s burdens be eased.”

In the video, the Grab food delivery rider could be seen riding ahead of the ambulance and waving vehicles out of the way to allow the ambulance to pass.

Netizens have since also praised the rider, while some pointed out that his skills in controlling traffic are similar to those of a traffic police officer’s.
