A 52-year-old woman collided with two motorcycles after allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol at Taman Bukit Mulia, Bukit Antarabangsa last night.

According to Ampang Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Farouk Eshak, the incident happened at 12.41am where the driver collided with a Harley-Davidson and a Yamaha Avantis, causing damage to the motorcycles.

He said that both the riders had approached the woman and asked her to lodge a police report, but she ended up driving away.

Mohamad Farouk Eshak added that the police have since managed to track the woman down and arrests are now underway, reported Harian Metro.

“No injuries were reported and an estimate of the loss has not been ascertained yet,” he said.

“People who have information on this case are asked to come to the Ampang Jaya Traffic Police Station.”

Previously, a video circulating on social media showed the woman in a drunken state while talking to the two motorcyclists after the crash.

When the motorcyclist had asked her if she had consumed alcohol, she admitted that she “(ada) minum sikit (drank a little bit)”. And when they asked her to make a police report, she drove off.
