There is a myriad of ways to make your business stand out from the others and sometimes, it’s not just about preserving the quality of your product but also how well you take care of your customers.

A Nasi Lemak stall in Shah Alam recently went viral after a clip showing some customers queuing on the red carpet circulated on social media. The red carpet was rolled out right in front of the stall and it stretches a little to the right. Instead of walking on the red carpet to receive your awards, you’re actually standing on the carpet to buy Nasi Lemak.

The clip was shared by Ustaz Ali, the owner of Tamparuli Nasi Lemak. Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Ustaz Ali said the red carpet is there for a reason and it’s definitely not just for fun.

“Everything we do here is a token of appreciation for the customers who come and support us,” Ustaz Ali explained.

The red carpet is certainly not the only way for Ustaz Ali and the team to express their gratitude. Last Friday (May 26), the team behind Tamparuli gave away beverages to their customers.

Tamparuli Nasi Lemak stall is located at Section 13, Shah Alam, just outside the Aeon Mall. Ustaz Ali also told WORLD OF BUZZ that this is actually their 2nd stall, with the first one operating at Section 18 since 2021. He is originally from Sabah, hence the name “Tamparuli”, which is a town on the west coast of Sabah.

Despite originating from Sabah, Ustaz Ali and the team actually started their business in Sarawak in 2016. 5 years later, they moved to Shah Alam where they launched their 1st stall. Earlier this year, their 2nd stall in Section 13 was opened to the public.

In case you missed it, Tamparuli Nasi Lemak went viral back in 2020 after they posted a series of images that show a “loyal customer” of them – a furry friend lining up for Nasi Lemak every day.

This is how Ustaz Ali tells us that he loves his customers without telling us he loves his customers. To our friends in Shah Alam, have you patronised their stalls?
