For the many Malaysians out there who braved the queue but didn’t manage to get themselves a Coldplay ticket, this may very well be the little ray of hope that you’ve been waiting for.

The organisers have shared that, due to there still being a high demand, they are not ruling out the possibility of an additional day being added to the British rock band’s concert.

But, according to a report by Buletin TV3, Live Nation Malaysia Managing Director Para Rajagopal said that there are too many things that need to be taken into account to fulfill this.

“Everything is possible. Discussions are still going on about many things. We can’t say anything more,” he shared.

This comes after online petitions were established by die-hard Coldplay fans, calling for a second day to be added to their Malaysian stop as the same was done for Koahsiung, Taiwan and for Perth, Australia due to the incredible demand for tickets.

And the demand is real in Malaysia too!

Para added that more than 700,000 people tried to buy tickets in for the Malaysian leg of Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour, which was sold out within 3 hours.

“(It is) very different from buying a flight ticket or booking a hotel. The pressure on the entire digital infrastructure is quite different.”

“As a total, I think we have no control over who managed to get a ticket and at what time. We are open to anyone to enter the system, but there must be a limit on the number of tickets sold,” he explained.

Fans have since been advised to always check the latest announcements in regards to any updates on Coldplay: Music Of The Spheres World Tour on the organisers’ social media channels.

We’ve got our fingers crossed for a second show!
