It’s no secret that Global Positioning System (GPS) is every driver’s best friend when it comes to navigating the complicated roads of Malaysia. But, every once in a while, people tend to rely on signboards.

What if, though, those signboards were way too small to be seen?

That’s exactly what’s happening on the newly opened SUKE highway, as showcased in a video on the DAily TRaffic REport Facebook page. The tiniest signboard could be seen at a split in the highway, indicating where the split roads lead to.

Though, you can only see what’s written on it once you’ve come too close, AFTER you’ve picked a road.

When we squint just enough, we can confirm that the road going left heads towards Hulu Langat while the road heading right leads towards Ampang. Don’t ask us what the other words written on the signboard are, they’re too small for us to see.

While some netizens are amused by the tiny signboard, others suspect foul-play could be involved.

Suke 6

“Designed in meters but printed in inches.”

Suke 3

“You have to stop at the intersection, get down from your vehicle to see the signboard. Crazy.”

Suke 4

“When an accident happens they’ll accuse you of looking at the scenery but actually you just wanted to see the signboard.”

Suke 5

“1. Have to investigate the contract for the signboard to see the cost of purchase and whether or not the contractor followed the specifications. 2. Who signed off on the approvals for the design and payment for the signboard?”

Suke 7

“Maybe they made it small on purpose, so that when people complain, they get more jobs to make it bigger.”

You can check out the signboard here.

Stay tuned for more updates.
