The current news is flooded by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, being Mr. Vladimir Putin’s most aggressive moves yet since the end of the Cold War over 30 years ago. Both countries being at war with each other has caused severe collateral damage, their people.

Ukraine is currently sleeping to the sounds of bombs and breathing in cement dust (due to the aftermath) when they step out during the day.

WORLD OF BUZZ has managed to get an insight from a Ukrainian himself (Victor [not his real name]) including his current living conditions.

Victor who lives with his wife and their 2 young children in Ukraine are forced to seek refuge in a bomb shelter underneath their home as the invasion goes on above.

Apart from carrying out their daily needs while being confined in the bomb shelter, they are also witnessing death before their eyes.

Victor has also shared a video of how an elderly woman is seen being laid by the side of the pavement after the attack. Though she survived, she had been severely injured.

“This is what we’re going through, however, we’re strong and we will win!” said Victor.

Victor has also shared another video he recorded from his phone of the bombings that take place even at night.

It’s too heartbreaking and extremely depressing that Ukrainians are going through tremendous loss.

In Putin’s latest escalation, Russia has switched to a new strategy of pummeling civilian areas in an attempt to demoralise Ukrainian forces while the people of Ukraine seem to be fighting for their country and honor. Nonetheless, we hope no further losses are endured during this conflict.
