The floods have caused a crazy amount of damage, mostly to private property such as people’s houses, cars and shops.

While there have been some who have shared methods on preventing water from entering houses to avoid damage, there are Malaysians who are now selling huge plastic bags to ‘bungkus’ your car in so that it isn’t effected by the rising waters.

Plastic 1

Priced from RM199 to RM499, these plastic bags comes in 4 sizes to fit your needs, from protecting furniture and electrical items to vehicles of all sizes.

There’s even a step by step guide on how to ‘tapau’ your car with these plastic bags, though it appears to be at least a 3 person job (2 people to hold the plastic open while the 3rd drives the vehicle into the plastic).

Plastic 2

While it’s sad to see the amount of people suffering due to the floods, it is also amazing to see how innovative Malaysians can get when it comes to solving a huge problem in Malaysia, property damage.

Interested in purchasing one of these huge plastic bags? You can check out this Shopee store.

Also, please do not forget to recycle these plastic bags if you are no longer using them.

How effective do you think these plastic bags are? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
