Malaysian vendors were grateful for the Recovery Movement Control Order as this meant they could re-open their stores again and recover from the losses they’ve been facing.

However, it’s not been easy for them as they now have to abide by SOPs and face a dwindling number of customers. A video went viral on Twitter where a stall vendor was seen trying his very best to keep his stall intact during a heavy rainstorm.

You can see in the video how hard he’s trying to hold his stall to avoid it from being blown away by the wind. Even though he’s getting pushed by the wind himself, he never once gave up.

The 17-second-long video has garnered over 10K retweets but unfortunately, no more information regarding the vendor was given. While some netizens expressed their anger towards the person who recorded the video without helping the vendor, most of them stated their sympathy and even shared their own experiences.

“I’ve felt this before. Only God knows how I had to convince myself to continue striving hard to make a living. I pray hardworking people like this is placed among believers and be blessed always.”

vendor2

“I’ve been this situation when I was helping my dad sell burgers and the canopy tore. When the winds are strong, you have to hold the canopy to make sure it doesn’t fly away. I had classes from morning till evening, then I would help him till 1/2 am. Alhamdulilah, I’ve had these experiences before.”

vendor3

“Allah pity him! Hopefully, all his affairs are made easier. Wanting to make a living is not easy but Allah knows the intentions of His servants.”

If you have any information regarding the vendor, do let us know to make it easier for anyone wanting to help the vendor. We hope all the businesses re-opening during the RMCO stay strong amidst their troubles.
