How often do we see people being kind and expecting nothing in return nowadays? In this day and age, this vendor showed us it doesn’t take much to brighten up another person’s day.
Marcus, a sushi vendor from Taman Bukit Anggerik, shared on Facebook, about a boy who came to buy some sushi for his mother.
In the post, he explained that the boy came to his shop and responsibly filled in his information in the logbook even though he had a minor incident before that where he fell down. Marcus added that despite the fall, he climbed back up without a cry or fuss.

The vendor asked for the number of people who came with the boy so that he could arrange the tables but the boy’s answer completely melted our hearts.
“I came alone to buy sushi for my mother. She works so hard so I just wanted to give her a treat.”
Just when we thought the situation couldn’t get any sweeter, what happened next proved us wrong. When the boy wanted to pay for his sushi, the bill came up to RM17.15 but the boy only had RM16.00!

The boy paying for the sushi in all rm1 notes showing he probably saved up the money for a long time!
Marcus then proceeded to say it’s fine and waived the additional RM1 payment. The boy was very happy after and even politely said thank you!
There are definitely two heroes in this story, one is the little boy who saved up his money to give his mother a nice treat. The other is Marcus who was generous and kind-hearted enough to give the boy a discount. We hope their story inspires more Malaysians to spread some kindness daily!
