The founder of local lingerie brand, Le Maream Lingerie, is currently in hot soup after a video of her saying some bewildering things went viral.

She mentioned that women are at least 30% to 50% to blame for men watching porn and even gave a rather sick example of a grandpa raping his grandchild.

In the video she said,

“We can’t put 100% of the blame on our husband for watching porn. Actually, the blame is on us ourselves.”

“We (females) did not help them satisfy their needs.”

She added that women are partly to blame because they did not help men satisfy their nafsu.

“Although not 100% but at least 30% to 50% of the responsibility is ours to help him.”

She even elaborated on this point by providing a mind-blowing example. She said,

“Based on my first impression, for example, a grandpa raping his grandchild – I wouldn’t be able to place 100% of the blame on the grandpa. Maybe that grandpa is married to a grandma and the grandma isn’t like how she used to be (when she was younger). So the grandpa is only satisfying his “nafsu” by watching porn.”

“So that’s the reason that as a wife or as females, our responsibility list is soooo long!”

“We have to accept this. The statistic is true. Men who are 35 to 50 years old are most prone to watching porn.”

This issue was highlighted in a tweet by @Michellelanious. The user mentioned how she’s baffled that someone would actually say such things. TBH, we are too!

Here are her thoughts:

The founder, also known as Umirah, has since spoken out about this issue.

She has apologised for her poor choice of words and clarified that she did not mean any harm.
