68yo Uncle Falls to His Death From Fourth Floor of Johor Bahru Mall

Tragedy has struck in Johor Bahru as an elderly man died after reportedly falling from the fourth floor of a shopping complex at Jalan Pelangi.

The death of 68-year-old Tan San Choy has been categorised as sudden death and his body has been taken to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital for further action.

South Johor Bahru district police chief assistant commissioner Shahurinain Jais said that the police received reports of the incident at about 6pm yesterday evening, as according to Sinar Harian.

“The Johor Bahru South Police Headquarters received calls from the public informing us of an incident where a man died inside a supermarket. Initial investigations found the deceased to be believed to have fallen from the fourth floor,” he added.

Investigations are still ongoing while police officers are also making the effort to track and contact the victim’s family members and beneficiaries.
