6-Month-Old Baby Severely Scalded By Boiling Water, Family In Desperate Need Of Donations

A six-month-old baby named Afiq suffered severe injuries after he was scalded by boiling water in a horrific incident.

In a post that was shared to the Facebook group Penang Kini yesterday (24 September), an appeal for public donations was made to help the family bear the medical costs of treating their son who is currently in a critical condition. “Afiq is still small. He is still crawling and just learned how to walk. He is currently being treated in the children’s ICU ward of the Penang General Hospital.”

“He has suffered severe burns all over his body”, penned the post. In the pictures shared to the group, poor baby Afiq can be seen attached to a ventilator. His small frame is completely covered by bandages. The incident is said to have happened in a PPR Flat at Desa Vision, Penang yesterday.
