He struck the victim with a brick

In a statement, Iskandar Puteri District Police Chief ACP Kumarasan A/L Muniandy said the victim had stopped the suspect, but out of anger, the suspect picked up a brick and struck the victim on the head.

The assault left the victim injured, and he later lodged a police report on August 31 (Sunday). Following the report, the Criminal Investigation Division of IPD Iskandar Puteri arrested the suspect.

The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for intentionally causing injury with a weapon or dangerous object. If found guilty, the suspect could face up to 10 years in jail, a fine, whipping, or a combination of these punishments.
