Security Staff Witnesses in Horror as 48yo Woman Falls from 14th Floor Balcony of Semenyih Apartment

A viral image recently made the rounds online, showing a woman sitting on the edge of an apartment balcony in Semenyih, Selangor.

The post, which also included a video, later revealed the tragic aftermath, whereby the woman was found lying motionless on the ground.

The incident was reported to have happened yesterday (August 28) at around 5:18 PM.

In a statement, the Kajang District Police Headquarters confirmed receiving a call from a member of the public regarding the incident involving a 48-year-old woman who jumped from the balcony of her residence.

According to the security staff member on duty at the building, while carrying out his patrol, he saw the victim sitting on the balcony of her 14th-floor apartment before she fell into the parking lot area.

She was pronounced dead at the scene

The victim was confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel, believed to have succumbed to severe injuries to the head and thigh.

The victim’s body was later sent to Kajang Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and the case has been classified as a sudden death.
