The matter was shared by the Ministry of Unity which collaborated with the Siamese Association Malaysia to make the event possible, and said the upcoming festival is an essential platform to introduce the Siamese culture to Malaysians.
The National Songkran festival in Perak will take place at the Kampung Tasek Songkran Hall in Pengkalan Hulu, Perak.
“This festival aligns with the MADANI government’s goal to promote unity and celebrate racial, cultural, and religious diversity in Malaysia,” the Minister of Unity, Aaron Ago Dagang said in his statement today (April 7).

Expect water activities!
Rest assured that the Songkran festival in the state will be filled with activities that are bound to make you feel like you’re in Thailand. The three-day event will feature activities such as the traditional Songkran procession, cultural exhibitions and performances, traditional food, traditional games competitions, and last but not least, the famous water splashing activities, among other things.
Aaron invited everyone, especially those from nearby areas, to participate in the National Songkran Festival. In the meantime, you can refer to the ministry’s official website for more information about the event.
