21yo Man Jumps from Thai Mall After Getting Caught Filming Upskirt Video with iPad, Now in Coma

A 21-year-old man suffered serious injuries and is now in a coma after jumping from the 4th floor of a mall in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on Friday (12 September) in an attempt to avoid being detained by authorities.

This occurred after the man was caught filming an upskirt video of a woman at Central Westgate Mall in the Bang Yai district.

According to the Bangkok Post, the man was using an iPad to secretly film an upskirt video of a woman on the 4th floor of the mall.

However, the victim noticed the act and immediately called for help.

Mall security personnel then coordinated with local police to detain the suspect, who was wearing a university shirt, as confirmed by Bang Yai Police Chief Pol Col Siriphop Anusiri.

The man was apprehended, but during the evidence collection process, he panicked and attempted to escape.

In a frantic state, the suspect threw his bag down and jumped from the 4th floor of the mall at around 7:40 PM.

According to The Thaiger, the fall resulted in multiple fractures and serious head injuries.

He was rushed to the hospital, where he later slipped into a coma.

Local police stated that investigations are ongoing and that the suspect’s iPad will be used as crucial evidence in the case.

Authorities also confirmed that legal action will be pursued once the suspect’s condition stabilises.
