After Zahid Hamidi broke the silence on rumours about his involvement in Bella’s abuse case, this time, his daughter Nurul Hidayah attempts to end the allegations once and for all.
Taking to her Instagram, Nurul revealed in a post that she knows the accused, Siti Bainun personally and they were once close. She even described Siti as someone who likes to help others with her charity work. They were both close to the extent where Nurul attempted to “match-make” Siti with her younger brother who is shy, especially around the opposite sex.
Her brother and Siti became close but cracks started to show in their relationship. Eventually, on Nurul’s advice, her brother ended the toxic relationship as she did not see both of them getting along well with each other. At the end of the post, Nurul expressed that she felt betrayed by all the allegations that have been thrown at her family.
My family has never protected the accused
In another Instagram post of hers, Nurul shared a series of conversations between her and Siti which took place on July 2021.
“As someone who was once close with the accused, I felt betrayed as the person whom I had always seen as someone who enjoys helping others, has another unimaginable hidden personality.”
Nurul also revealed that last year, she made a posting about Bella which prompted Siti to ask, “Do you have a problem with me, sis?” Through the series of screenshots which you can read below, Nurul wants the people to know that there is no way that her family is protecting or helping the accused in Bella’s abuse case.
She also expressed her confusion on the purpose of #justiceforbella, saying that she’s unsure if the motive of the phrase is to expose the perpetrator or to reveal who was once pally with the accused.
Siti Bainun, 30, was charged with 2 counts of neglecting and abusing a teenager with Down Syndrome, Bella, resulting in the victim sustaining physical and emotional injuries.
