Cheaper than plane tickets, yet safer than buses, ETS intercity trains have been a boon for frequent out-of-state travelers. But with KTM’s recent announcement, the train service no longer caters just to the budget-conscious commuters.

Now, they’ve turned their eye to providing more premium services by offering an all-new KL-Perlis Business Class train service!

What features make the Business Class coaches better than regular ETS coaches? A whole laundry list!

The upgrades include in-train entertainment, free wifi, a call for assistance button, USB and charging socket, onboard dining, reading lights, and single seats that recline and rotate!

KTM has noted that you also get a free business class meal with each ticket!

Tickets are now as low as RM50 for KL Sentral — Ipoh, Perak, and RM112 for KL Sentral — Padang Besar, Perlis. Do be quick to book your tickets as these prices are only for the promotional travel period from 11 October to 30 November 2019.

50% concession discount tickets are available for senior citizens, children below 12, disabled people, and government retirees and their wives.
