Malaysians are still reeling and shocked from the plane crash tragedy at Elmina, Shah Alam on Thursday (17 August), with investigations on the incident still ongoing.

Following the tragedy, His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah was one of the first to visit the plane crash site.

His Majesty was so affected by the incident that he broke down when speaking with the victims’ families.

Now, Istana Negara shared that His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong has made a personal donation to Adlina Aisyah Ahmad Rusli, the wife of Idris Abdol Talib @ Ramali, one of the victims who sadly perished in the Elmina tragedy.

Idris was a Pahang government official who worked as an enforcement officer at the Raub District Islamic Religious Office before taking unpaid leave earlier this year to serve as the special officer to state Local Government, Housing, Environment and Green Technology Committee chairman Datuk Seri Johari Harun, who also lost his life in the plane crash incident.

The donation was handed over by Grand Chamberlain of the Istana Negara, Datuk Azuan Effendi Zairakithnaini at Adlina Aisyah’s house in Kuala Lumpur yesterday (18 August).

The post also shared that 41-year-old Adlina Aisyah was a human resources administrative officer at the Istana Negara from 2011 to 2015.

His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah conveyed their condolences to Adlina Aisyah and her family via Azuan Effendi during the visit.

Istana Negara asserted,

“Their Majesties also expressed their sadness over the incident and hope that Adlina Aisyah and her family will be patient and persevere in facing this ordeal.

“Their Majesties pray that his soul be showered with mercy by Allah SWT and placed among the pious,”

We here at WORLD OF BUZZ would like to offer our condolences to Adlina Aisyah and her family for the loss.
