Dogs are our pets, cats are our masters. #fact

A cat from an animal shelter has recently gone viral after the description on her adoption ad managed to attract the attention of cat fans worldwide. Perdita, a four-year old domestic shorthair, was brought to the shelter after her previous owner passed away.

When she first arrived, the shelter owners were facing problems in handling her, which prompted them to do a thorough check up on her. They discovered that she is perfectly healthy and her aggression is just her way to cope.

So they came up with a creative way to put her up for adoption. The shelter shared this ad on their Facebook page:

The creative ad has since gained so much attention, there are currently 50 applicants who are eager to adopt Perdita. We do feel that Perdita is grumpy because she is coping with the death of her owner. Hopefully her new owner will prove to her that there is still love in the world and Perdita will once again be a cheerful loving cat.
