Bung Moktar’s widow, Zizie Izette, admitted that she feels lost following her late husband’s death.

Bung Moktar’s passing shocked not only his family and friends but also the entire nation. Many of the country’s leaders have spoken fondly of him, including actor Shaheizy Sam, who is also Bung’s brother-in-law.

Last night, Zizie, Sam’s elder sister, mourned the loss. In a series of Instagram stories, she penned an emotional goodbye and expressed her gratitude, wishing she had the chance to share it with Bung again.

“I wish I had just a little more time to hug him.”

Zizie said she feels lost after Bung’s death, adding that she had so many things to tell him, especially words of gratitude for everything he had done for the family.

“I wish I had just a little more time to hug him and to thank him for everything he had done for our family.”

“This is Bung, someone who always gave in just to keep his children and everyone happy at home. Someone who prayed a lot,” she shared.

In her Instagram stories, Zizie also shared snippets of their happy moments when Bung was still alive. Earlier, Sam also shared that Bung was a soft-spoken person at home, and the version everyone saw in Parliament was very different from the one his family knew.

Bung breathed his last on 5 December at around 1:46 AM after being reported in critical condition while receiving treatment at the hospital. His death was officially confirmed by his son, Naim Moktar, via a social media post.

Zahid Hamidi, the President of UMNO and Bung’s longtime friend, also expressed his sadness over the passing.
