Coldplay fans in Singapore faced a sky filled with rain clouds as they headed to the band’s concert at the National Stadium. Concertgoers started sharing the aftermath on social media, that shows moments of getting soaked in the flooded walkways.
User @eunsdiary went on TikTok to share his perspective, along with others, on the experience of braving through the flood after the concert.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Eunice shared that the entire day experienced continuous rain, leading to the flooding of the National Stadium.
He noted that the flooding began because of an empty space in the stadium, and it eventually reached Kallang MRT station.
Eunice mentioned,
“Next to the stadium, there’s an empty space, and I think they’re constructing something. I’m not sure if it’s a house or something else. That’s probably why there’s flooding. The concert wrapped up around 10:45 pm, if I recall correctly. Despite the flood, we still had a great time at the concert.”
For some fans, the most challenging part was walking through flooded walkways caused by flooding in the area as they headed home after the show.
Many opted to go barefoot, while others didn’t mind getting their footwear wet.
Internet users quickly filled the comment section to help lighten the mood.
Some even tried to create something positive out of a challenging situation.
