The mosque is a holy place in which Muslims assemble to pray and do things related to the religion. However, there are individuals out there who misuse the area for their heinous habits and acts which are either fueled by greed or desperation.

In a video that was recently shared on My Crime Watch Twitter account, a very healthy looking, gym-going, buff guy was recorded stealing bags from the person praying beside him. The video started with everyone in the kneeling position, which is before everyone bows down to the floor.

From the video, it can safely be assumed that the culprit had been eyeing the bags before the prayer started. As soon as everyone bowed down, he swiftly got up and snatched the bags before making his escape.

Judging by his appearance, the culprit does not look like someone who is fueled by desperation. *Maybe he needs money to pay off his gym membership

Whatever it is, stealing is wrong and to steal in a holy place while everyone else is praying is just simply unacceptable. We hope the culprit will be caught soon and brought to justice.
