In a video posted on Twitter, a robber with a helmet is seen casually walking into a gold jewellery shop carrying a badminton racquet bag.

He squats right in front of the counter and fumbles around with the bag while the shopkeepers watch him, probably wondering what he’s up to. This goes on for a while until he suddenly takes out a rifle but doesn’t actually use it.

Of course, this makes the shopkeepers flee for their lives while he slings the rifle over his shoulder and takes out an axe from his bag.

He then starts whacking the counter where the gold jewellery was kept and violently breaks the glass. At this point of time, the alarm system can be heard going off, but he still continues to whack away.

After managing to make a few holes in the counter, he starts grabbing the jewellery and stuffing them into his bag while the shopkeepers hide in the back room.

Another video of the same incident shows shoppers watching him rob the shop from afar, recording him in action while trying to hide. I guess it’s fair to say that trying to stop the robber would’ve resulted in them getting hurt, since he had an axe and a gun on him.

The incident happened at a gold shop in Mydin, Alor Setar recently, but it seems like this wasn’t the only place he robbed. That’s because another video posted on Facebook shows him doing the exact same thing at another gold jewellery shop in Arau, Perlis.

He strolls into the shop, squats down, takes out the rifle to scare people away, takes out the axe, whacks the glass and quickly escapes.

With so many “successful” robberies this guy has carried out, we hope the authorities will track him down and arrest him for his crimes.
