Teachers play such a significant role in our lives and we are thankful for all that they do every single day. Whether they are former teachers, current teachers, teachers of little loved ones, or just teachers in our lives, we understand how important their job is in student development and learning.

But do kids understand this fact? Well for this particular group of children – indeed they do!

Taking to Twitter, this teacher shared just how much her students love her.

With the caption “Selamat Bercuti Semua (Happy Holidays Everyone), Gaithiry Chandra uploaded a TikTok video of how her students in Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur gave her hugs, kisses and ‘salam’ her hand before going home.

At a time where racial divide seems to be the order of the day, it is refreshing to know that there are still those out there who look beyond differences that seem to divide more adult individuals.

Commenting on the tweet, netizens commended on how close the teacher-student relationship were in the video.

In the thread, a netizen shared another video of how one student still loitered around her classroom even when school was over.

She explained: “I love my students very much because they love me unconditionally.”

Awwww.

We seriously hope that more videos showcasing this positive teacher-student relationship makes its way onto social media for us to cover in the future.
