The bond between a teacher and their students is an extremely important one, especially considering how much time we spend in schools. Hence, it is always nice to see a good relationship between a teacher and their students.
Recently, a video of an interaction between a primary school boy and his teacher in Sarawak went viral for how adorable it was.
In the video, the boy had brought a token of appreciation for his teacher in what appeared to be something in a plastic bag.
Much to the teacher’s surprise, his token of appreciation was actually a giant prawn!
The teacher appeared to be delighted as he received the unexpected token of appreciation from his student.
What a lovely surprise!
The video has since gone viral and has been circulating all over various social media platforms. Netizens loved the kind and surprising gesture by the young boy.

Other users shared similar experiences of getting unexpected tokens of appreciation from students.
“My brother used to teach in a rural area. An orang asli school. He asked one of his students to get him some petai, half the class ended up getting petai for him.”
Another said, “My brother in law is a teacher in Sandakan, his students often get him fresh and big seafood.”
