All schools have their own rules and regulations on the student’s appearance. Most would want their students to look clean and tidy when they are at school. However, as we all know, there are many who like to break the rules.

According to Tribun News, a teacher in the Paguyaman area in Indonesia has cut his student’s hair as a punishment.

It is said that he gave several warnings to the student prior to cutting his long and unkempt hair.

However, this action was not accepted by the student’s parents. In an attempt to get “revenge” for their child, the father actually went to the school and cut a tuft of the teacher’s hair when he was teaching in class.

Pictures of a bald spot on the teacher’s head soon went viral on multiple social media platforms.

In a Facebook post by Insan Dai, he says that both parties involved have settled this matter in a hushed matter by writing an apology letter each.

However, he also asked: “Do schools not have the authority to discipline students any longer?”

Although this case has been solved by both parties apologizing, the above question still remains. What is your take on this matter? Let us know in the comments.
