As the new school year rolls around, parents have to find ways to motivate their children to once again go to school. This can be especially hard for kids who are attending school for the very first time as it often ends up in tears and tantrums.
However, in a recent TikTok video which has since gone viral, the parents of a boy who is attending school for the very first time seems to have found a creative way to motivate their kid to go to school.
The video which was uploaded by Kosmo, showed Mohd Fadzil, 41 and Nurul Aini Mohd Olwi, 41, wearing primary school uniforms that matched their son’s in hopes of calming his nerves on his very first day of school.
In the video, their son initially looked nervous to leave his parents side, but after receiving some encouraging pats and words and with his dad adjusting the straps of his schoolbag, he looked ready to face his new routine.

The video has since gone viral on various social media platforms as netizens took to the comments section to praise the parents for their innovative way to motivate their child.
“If one day I have children, I will do something like this. I want to give them everything that I missed during my childhood.”
“Such a great dad. For mums, I think it’s normal that they’d do anything to help their child, but when the dad gets involved, it’s even better,” said a user.
Another user commented, “This couple probably went through a hard journey based on the age gap. That’s why they really want to be there.”
