As the horrible floods in the North and Eastern states continue to devastate Malaysians, this video serves as proof that despite hardships, we can still look out for one another.

Taking to TikTok, netizen @areeniepareeniep went out on his boat during the flood, feeding stranded animals such as this poor pooch.

In the video, the man can be seen maneuvering his boat and, with the help of his partner, beginning to throw food onto this doggo’s roof.

The dog, who seemed calm throughout the ordeal, simply received the food and continued to stay on top of the roof.

Probably with his own reasons for not taking the doggo with him, here is what netizens had to say on the matter.

“Despite being left behind, thank you for giving him food.”

“Please open up donations so that we, too, can help out,” said a netizen.

“Can non-Muslims in the area help and save this poor doggo and those just like it? I’m sure there are those out there who can help.”
