Reality TV series like American Idol, Malaysian Idol, Asia’s Got Talent, America’s Got Talent and many more prides itself for being an open playing field where anyone can get the chance to hone their skills and getting the big break they need into stardom.

While these reality tv series have unearthed great talents such as Kelly Clarkson, the human calculator and Sacred Riana, the tv series have also managed to unearth hilariously funny failed auditions.

Surely you’ve seen videos of would-be contestants peddling weird skills unlike any other, which is a complete miss of what the judges are looking for.

I mean, you’ve got to give them credit for their confidence though.

Shared on Facebook page Remaja, this one contestant did just that.

Blessed with the confidence of doing something truly out of the ordinary, here is a video of his audition.

Sick moves dude.

Auditioning for Hero Remaja 2020, a competition where magazine Remaja searches the country for the next teen idol, contestants are required to perform a unique act for the judges and contestant 0044 performed what he calls as the snake dance.

Clearly unprepared, the dance would have been more convincing if he practiced a bit more.

Netizens too were less than accepting of the act, with certain quarters saying that this is just a person looking for his 15-seconds of fame.

No matter the outcome, we applaud contestant 0044 for his bravery. Maybe try something a little different in the future ok?
