Saving water is an effort that requires everyone to play a part – from human beings to animals.

With one-third of the world’s population experiencing water shortages, even pets are doing their part to help the situation.

Taking to Twitter, Nature & Animals proved just how much animals are doing their part when a kitty scolded a doggo for wasting water saved in a basin.

The video saw a puppy happily splashing around in a basin before its cat acquaintance came in and gave a scolding.

Realising its mistake, the pooch stopped in fear of retribution from the cat.

Having received the scolding of its life, doggo just stood still throughout the barrage.

Poor doggo.

Let’s hope that kitty and doggo stay as friends and teach us humans, how important it is to save water.
