Apart from being a danger in of itself, the floods tend to also bring about scary creatures and animals closer to us meaning that they’d appear in places where we’d often never seen them before.

Such creatures includes snakes and more recently, the rise in crocodile sightings on our roads and near our homes.

Recently, a Twitter user shared a video where he had spotted a massive crocodile in the river right next to his house in a village in Melaka.

In a post shared by @BukanWanted, a huge crocodile could be seen swimming casually in the river. He wrote, “There’s a crocodile right next to my house! This is not child size, it’s massive!

The river next to my house isn’t that deep, normally I only see them in the Pulau Gadong area. But now it’s in the river right next to my house.”

The user went on to express his worry if the area were to flood even more.

“If the river floods and spills over to the land, I will no longer feel at ease. It can just come out in front of my house,” he shared.

He went on to share several videos and pictures of the said crocodile.

He also added that he has since contacted the Malaysia Civil Defence Force as a number of the villagers in the area have expressed concern.

“They normally fish next to this river and they’d often go right next to the river.”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the user mentioned that the river is in his village known as Sungai Air Salak, whilst his village is known as Kampung Bukit Datok-B.
