The damage to properties and vehicles is not the only concern that you’re bound to have in mind during flood season. In some areas, the presence of deadly wildlife is also among the fears that people have to brace for.

Following the flash floods that hit parts of Shah Alam and Klang this morning, a group of people in Pasar Taman Sentosa, Klang were shocked by the presence of an “uninvited guest” who decided to slide into the place – a huge snake.

While the crowd tried to avoid the deadly reptile, a brave man who works in the restaurant in front of the market did what he could to scare the snake away.

Imagine you’re having your breakfast and going about your day and your morning is interrupted by a snake! The video of the incident is shared by the Facebook page We Are Malaysians, but the reactions from fellow netizens are unexpectedly hilarious.

Some of them wondered if the reptile has eventually winded up as lunch for the people there.

“Snake soup for dinner.”

“Where did it end up, uncle? In your wok?”

Another netizen joked by saying the snake is bracing through the flood as the reptile also wanted to cast a vote in the coming election.

“The wok is ready. What are you waiting for?”

“This should be delicious if cooked with soy sauce.”

While the rain has stopped and the flooding in most areas has receded, do watch out for this deadly wildlife as they may still wander around the area to seek shelter. If you happen to encounter one, contact the fire department, and don’t risk your life by scaring them away.
