WATCH: M’sian Family Accidentally Leaves Their Mother Behind At A House They Were Visiting For Raya

The Hari Raya Aidilfitri spirit is still alive and well despite most city folks already making their way back to the city as we speak. With the transition to endemic phase having more lenient Covid-19 SOPs, many are taking the opportunity to visit the homes of distant family members and friends, which is a hallmark Hari Raya tradition in Malaysia.

Well, for one particular Malaysian family, a recent Aidilfitri visit will be hilariously remembered for the rest of their lives. Get this, the family accidentally left behind their mother at a house that they were visiting!

 

Taking to TikTok, one netizen shared the story of how a family that came visiting for Hari Raya unintentionally left their mother behind at their home.

In the video, the netizen writes, “At first the family were keen at waving their goodbyes.”

“Only moments later, they found out that they left their mother behind.”

“It was a good thing that they were close to their location.”

While other people accidentally leave behind their wallets or handphones, this family leave behind their mother, who was busy tapau-ing or packing food from the home owners.

Commenting on the video, netizens also shared their stories of accidentally leaving behind their loved ones.
