As Asians, we incorporate soy sauce in almost every dish that we eat. In the kitchen, it is normal to have a big bottle of soy sauce that we will surely pour to our heart’s content to flavour the dish that we are making.

Kikkoman Soy Sauce 148Ml

But what about that small red-topped serving bottles most restaurants use? We tend to pour too much as we don’t know how to control the flow of the soy sauce properly.

Well, now we have a solution. Specifically for those bottles with the red top, in this case, the Kikkoman soy sauce. You will now be able to control the flow by doing a simple move and this move is demonstrated in a TikTok video of a radio show in Australia.

So what do you really need to do? Well, as you can see from the video, you need to simply place a finger over the hole at the back of the lid, which acts as a valve to control the pressure which affects the flow of the soy sauce. Yeah, science.

Yup, that’s it! So next time if you are at a place that has these red-topped soy sauce bottles, you can finally become a soy-sauce bender; just like the Airbender but with soy sauce. 😉
