A Malaysian customer recently purchased a Wagyu Pasta, which cost her RM75. The price, however, was initially not an issue for her as she wanted to try it out, but things changed when the food was delivered to her.
For that price, which didn’t include the RM18 delivery fee, the pasta came packaged in a red plastic bag, which she dubbed “garbage plastic bag.”

Woman disappointed that her RM75 Wagyu Pasta came in a red “garbage plastic bag”
The Wagyu Pasta, which was sold by Malaysian influencer Jofliam, whose signature is Wagyu Pizza, came in a rectangular, black plastic container. A screenshot of the conversation went viral on Threads, in which the customer vented her dissatisfaction about the packaging of the food, which she did not expect, especially given the price.
“It tasted like a standard pasta, creamy and thick, and the wagyu was placed on top.”
“But I could hardly finish it because it was too creamy by the end. It was packed in a red plastic bag, like a garbage bag. Is he that poor?”

Jofliam, however, has not responded to the matter on his socials.
The Wagyu Pasta was just recently added to Jofliam’s menu, and the customer wanted to try the pasta out of curiosity. According to Google reviews, Jofliam’s pizza can cost up to RM150 for a 10-inch pizza.
The reviews are mixed, with some highlighting its high price with nothing much, while others praised Jofliam’s Wagyu Pizza for its amazing taste.
What do you think of the packaging for the pasta?
