A video is currently going viral online, showing a man driving against traffic in front of a school in Klang, Selangor, despite a Malaysia Volunteers Corps Department (RELA) member attempting to stop the man by standing in front of his car.

The video was shared on the KLANG SENTOSA INDIAN MAKKAL Facebook group by a netizen, Jegathes Theyvendran. In the video, the driver can be seen using his vehicle to nudge the RELA member, who was standing his ground to block the flow of illegal traffic.

Jegathes Theyvendran wrote,

“Behind the SJK(T) today, 15 December, 2025, at 12:40 PM in Taman Klang Jaya. This ‘2025 excellent’ driver entered a no-entry (road) when the school day was coming to an end. Students were coming out. He (used his car to) try to hit the RELA volunteer on duty.”

What Malaysians had to say

Malaysians believe action should be taken against the driver, while a netizen also pointed out that road users often disregard road rules in that particular area.

“PDRM, please take swift action against people like this.”

“Societal trash like this should be reported to the police. Capture this societal trash and stuff him in jail.”

“It’s easy, install sharp metal (rods) on the road, if he drives through there, he has to bear the cost of what happens.”
