“God could not be everywhere, and therefore He created mothers” – Rudyard Kipling

A mother’s love is often unconditional and limitless, and she will do whatever it takes to protect her child, under any circumstances.

Just recently, a Facebook page 收风吹水 shared an image of a mother carrying a table just for the sake of sheltering her child from the rain. The child, who just returned from school descended from the car and her mother is already waiting right outside the car to make sure the innocent soul was not exposed to the rain.

While the incident took place in Malaysia, it is unclear where exactly the scene happened or when it occurred. But the context of the image itself gained the attention of fellow Malaysians, while some questioned how could a foldable desk becomes an alternative for an umbrella, most of them highlighted one similar thing – the mother’s love knows no bounds.

Netizens who were touched by the scene had their own ways to describe what they feel.

“A mother’s love is the best.”

“Sheltering the child from the weather. This is how noble a mother’s love is.”

“A true love does not bother what others think of it.”

“For the sake of the children, a mother can think of anything, this is how noble a mother is.”

“A heartwarming scene that depicts a mother’s love. Nothing can describe it perfectly.”

“As long as it does the job, the process doesn’t matter. As long as the child is protected, carrying a table doesn’t require much.”

For some people, it has been a pretty hectic week. So we thought that sharing a heartwarming image may just restore your faith that life is not all bad, and there’s still a glimmer of hope, especially if your parents are still around.

Fellow Malaysians, what are your fondest memories with your parents?
