There are certain places where pets are strictly not allowed, be it your pet dog or cat. As long as it’s an animal, they’re not meant to be in some places.
Just recently, a man in Malacca went viral on social media in a video shared by a Twitter user, @nanmanjoi8715 after he was seen bringing his pet dog into a laundry, where the man put his furry friend in a basket. The man, who was putting coins into the washing machine told another man who confronted him that he brought the dog to the laundry the other day and had no issue.
The man with the dog also said that there was no one home, which was why he had to bring the dog out.
“Why can others bring their cats?” he asked.
The person who recorded the incident then told the man that cats are allowed but not dogs and pigs, especially in public places. The man, however, was still not happy about being told off for bringing his dog into the laundry and continued to question why others were allowed to bring their pets but not him.
“I’ve never met the others, so I can’t tell them off. I’m telling you in a good manner now, so don’t be rude to me.”
“No cats, no dogs, nothing”
A couple of netizens also highlighted the same question that the man with the dog had – why are cats allowed? However, most netizens who saw the video agreed that regardless, all animals should not be allowed at the laundry for hygiene purposes.
“Dogs are never allowed, same goes for cats. Why would the person who recorded say that cats are allowed? No animals should be allowed into the laundry.”
“For hygiene purposes, no animals are allowed into the laundry. This has nothing to do with race. As a Chinese person myself, I genuinely think this is a public health concern.”
