There are some that say being a single father is better than a single mother, but maybe that’s only if you are viewing the issue financially.

If you ask any single parent out there, the road is a tough one no matter what.

Hence, we definitely can feel the hardship that this single father has to go through.  The Indonesian man had just lost his wife a few months ago and had to take the role of both a father and a mother to his small daughter.

Working persistently while carrying his daughter

His story became famous after a video was uploaded on an Instagram account, Visit Cianjur, showing his dedication to work while carrying the small child. The poor baby must’ve felt very tired to fall asleep on her working dad.

As his work is to patch tires, he needs to move a lot. But that just doesn’t stop him from carrying the child around as he insists on taking care of the child on his own. He didn’t want her to feel even slightly neglected.

While the other hand moves diligently

He uses one hand to tend to her, while the other for work. The video yielded a bunch of different feelings from the public. Apart from feeling heartbroken to witness this small family’s situation, everyone is hopeful that they will thrive as time goes on.

What wouldn’t a father do for his child? May the daughter grow with compassion and one day repay her father’s sacrifices.
