About 3 months ago, it was reported that a 17-year-old boy from the UK had boarded a one-way flight to Malaysia and disappeared, leaving his family feeling worried. A month later, he allegedly sent them an e-mail urging his family not to worry or look for him.

Now, his heartbroken mother has come to Malaysia in an effort to find her son.

The mother believes that her son was lured into Malaysia and that the e-mail wasn’t written by him

Having met with philanthropist, Uncle Kentang, he took to his Facebook page to explain how David Renz Balisong’s mother’s belief that the email that was sent was not written by her son due to the words used.

He wrote, “The mother received an email stating that he is fine and not to worry. The police in the United Kingdom (UK) have told the mum that the IP address of the email couldn’t be traced, and a police report was made in Malaysia. The mother does not believe that the email was written by her own son, as the words in the email did not tally with their usual conversations.”

“She is worried that her son may have been lured into Malaysia for whatever reason. The Malaysian police have begun their investigations. The mother is pleading to Malaysians, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and also our Prime Minister to help locate her son.”

She will be in Malaysia until September 22 (Monday)

After sharing further details about sightings of David, Uncle Kentang further explained the mother’s despair.

“The son was seen using the fast lane and did not have luggage with him. According to the mum, he boarded a bus to the KL Sentral bus station. It is unusual. He has never travelled out of his country in the UK before this,”

“She is crying and begging Malaysians for help. Please share. We do not want Malaysia to be a place where youngsters go missing. The mum will be in Malaysia until September 22, 2025. If you have any information, please call PDRM or 017 7369187, or my number at 012 2732148,” he added.
