A woman in China held up a child who was dangling from the third storey of a building’s window railings, using her shoulders as support for around 20 minutes.

According to SMCP, the woman’s quick thinking managed to save the little girl who had her head trapped between the grille of the window railing.

The incident occurred in Hubei province, China, when the woman heard a child crying from above. Without any hesitation, she climbed to the second story to support the child’s legs with her shoulder. She stood there for over 20 minutes.

The child was reported to have accidentally fallen through the grille while she was at home alone. According to sources, the child was finally rescued without any injuries.

“I don’t know where my courage is from. Maybe it’s just the instinct of being a mum,” the woman said, as reported by SMCP.

Netizens flooded the comment section with praises for the woman and her quick thinking while others questioned the absence of the child’s parents.
