Everyone knows that racing on public roads is ILLEGAL, but still do not get the memo.

As recently as yesterday, three men lost their lives following a crash along Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Highway in Georgetown, Penang, with videos of their crash making its way on social media.

Viewer discretion is advised.

Based on the videos that went viral on social media, the three men were seen racing along the highway, before another video witnessed one of them crashing into an unsuspecting vehicle, early Sunday morning.

In another, more intense video, bodies of the victims can also be seen sprawled on the pavement with members of the public gathering and attempting to save the victims.

Along with the three who succumbed to injuries, there were three others injured in the incident.

Police have identified the deceased as Muhammad Eizreel Muhamad Roszadi, 25, Ahmad Haikal Naif Ahmad Nazrul, 19, and Mohd Syazwan Hakim Abdul Sani, 22.

It was reported that the accident happened near the E-Gate pass of the highway.

Police investigation is currently underway.
