A school magazine represents all the glory a school brings to its students – from student achievements to stories – a school magazine is almost a must for anyone wanting to keep a piece of nostalgia with them for years to come.

But what happens when things are far from the usual norm we have gone through in the past? One student shared a story of how the current reality have taken over content for her own school magazine.

Taking to Twitter, @ninomelet_ writes, “This is what my school magazine looks like.”

“This picture was taken during some of the events that were organised. We do still have class photos which were taken before Covid-19, so not all pages will look like this.”

“If you were wondering why many opted to not open their webcams, it was down to the fact that we rarely do it unless on special occasions. We didn’t even know that they took a screenshot, or else we would have turned our cameras on.”

Sharing her pain, a netizen who commented on her school’s magazine said that they too faced the same thing.

“This is how my school magazine took our class photo.”

On a positive note, it is good to see that students who make up the editorial team of their respective school magazines can exercise their creative juices and come up with new ideas that make do with what they are given at this point in time.
