As the whole nation applaud the effort of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his team introducing the stimulus package, six-month interest moratorium, suspension of employer EPF contribution, HRDF contribution and tax payments, there are still those out there who feel that the move put in place may be a burden to them in the future.

While many feel that the packages introduced will help ease the strain on cash flow, the crisis and the Movement Control Order (MCO) in combating the pandemic, netizens who categorized themselves as part of the T20 felt that the move was unfair to them.

One netizen took to Twitter and called these people out. Here is what the netizen had to say.

“If you think the biggest douches in Malaysia, at the moment, are those who insist on jogging during MCO. I have news for you. There is worse scum out there.”

To sum up the argument, this netizen asked as to why those categorized in the B40 segment are receiving the most benefits during the announcement of the stimulus package.

Epic facepalm.

What the netizen in the above failed to understand is the fact that those categorized in the B40 segment are the ones hugely impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak and MCO.

Clearly angered at the fact someone living so privileged can put themselves first when others need it the most, netizens piled on the hurt.

“You don’t expect the government to pay for your Netflix subscription too? If you don’t have the money then why don’t you just cancel your subscription?”

Clearly failing to understand the difference between luxury and necessity, let’s hope that others out there do not have the same mindset as this netizen.
