ATMs to withdraw rice? WOW!

According to Free Malaysia Today, The management of Al-Akram Mosque Kampung Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur have now set up a rice ATM machine for the asnaf (needy or less fortunate) community.

This ATM machine is said to be the first one to be set up in Malaysia! Time to withdraw some rice!

All recipients have to do is touch the sensor with a card on the ATM rice machine. By doing so, 2kg of rice will be dispensed in the lower section of the machine.

Besides that, the ATM rice machine will also allow users to put cash into it in which the money will be regarded as donations. The accumulated funds will later be used to purchase more rice.
