It appears that this year, there have been plenty of complaints in regards to the quality of the food and drinks being sold at our Ramadan bazaars.

From spoiled products to expensive food, there seems to be no end to the issues that are coming up.

Recently, a picture of a stall vendor went viral on Twitter after he was caught filling up the containers of his air balangs with roadside pipe water.

It is unclear where and when the incident took place.

Easy money

The pictures have since gone viral on social media where netizens condemned the stall vendor for practicing such unhygienic methods of preparing his drinks.

Some say that things like these are exactly why they don’t trust the products being sold at Ramadan bazaars and why they try to avoid going to them in the first place.

“Now I know why I always have diarrhea after I go to a Ramadan bazaar.”

“Okay, from today I will try to stop buying air balang,” said a user.

Another user commented, “That’s why my mum never buys drinks like these. Now I know why.”

Meanwhile, some users pointed out that this is much more common than we think, and that plenty of air balang vendors simply use pipe water.
