One of Indonesia’s most loved products, the classic noodles, Indomie is a firm favourite in our Malaysian mamak just because it is so delicious.
You can see it in our articles, people love Indomie. We have Indomie burgers, Indomie desserts, Indomie couture, and even a restaurant centred around Indomie cuisine.
Also on the list of things people freaking love- french fries, because who doesn’t love fries?
So when we heard that this burger joint in Australia actually combined both of these into one glorious dish, we were shook.
They call it: Mi Goreng Loaded Fries.
Here it is in all its glory.
LOOK AT IT!
It’s just so…beautiful.
Shoestring fries, mixed and shaken with Indomie seasoning (yes, the flavouring packet inside the noodles), sprinkled with crunchy fried noodles, and topped with a delicious, gooey egg.
This delicious looking dish costs AU$12 (RM35) and will be available in February 2019. According to the announcement, everything except the egg and fries is taken straight from the packet for that authentic Indomie feel.
It was created by the geniuses at Milky Lane, a chain of Australian burger bars. Here’s some of their other drool-inducing work.
The food’s so good even Ed Sheeran likes it.
Just looking at these pictures makes you wanna buy a ticket straight for Sydney and head over there.
Of course, the creators have generously shared the ingredients so you can make your own Indomiegasmic fries! All you need is some:
- Sweet Soy Sauce*
- Chilli Sauce*
- Seasoning Powder*
- Crunchy Fried Noodles*
- Shoestring Fries
- Fried Egg
*Taken straight from the Indomie packet
Thankfully, it’s really simple so anyone can do it right at home.
So, will you guys be trying to make this dish at home? Or is anyone checking plane tickets right this moment? If any of you do make it, post pics and show off your cooking skills in the comments below!
