A Malaysian woman was recently left confused when she discovered that she had an unpaid parking summons during a date and time that she (and her car) were at home!

Taking to her XiaoHongShu account, 喜歡藍色的女孩 questioned how she should deal with this situation as she showcased the parking summons she received, and CCTV proof that she and her car were at home in Ipoh, Perak, during the date and time stated in the summons.

She wrote, “How can I get summoned if I was parked at home??”

“It feels like my license plate number was stolen or the officer wrote down the wrong license plate number (when issuing the summons). There is evidence. At that time, I was still sleeping and had not driven out.”

Pay one summons, discover another!

Speaking to Sin Chew Daily, the woman shared that she discovered the summons when she had opened the Park@Perak application to pay a summons for a different vehicle.

That’s when she discovered that her silver Perodua Myvi also had an outstanding summons in Batu Gajah.

Armed with CCTV proof that her car was at home during the time and date of the summons, she has since filed a complaint with the relevant authorities.
