David Schwimmer, who played the role of Ross Geller, said that the filming of this special version is meant to start somewhere in August. But if the current pandemic situation doesn’t compromise with their intention, then they’ll wait until it’s safe to do otherwise, according to CNN Entertainment.

Additionally, during his appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’, David said to Jimmy Fallon that he almost rejected the role of Ross Geller. However, he decided to take up the character at the end when he knew the creators of this sitcom made Ross with HIM in mind.

But honestly, can you imagine somebody else playing the iconic role of Ross?

The reunion had been long anticipated by fans and was officially confirmed by HBO Max in February 2020. It would be unscripted, comprising an interview as well as some ‘surprise bits’. Though it was put on pause because of the pandemic outbreak, plans of bringing it to the big screen still proceeded.

Now, are you excited for their comeback?
